On the front page of the watchman's notebook there was a fragment of map left so I dotted my pins along the line projected from Germany up to Greenland - LOL

I believe I worked it out exactly (lots of good clues) - but was I first? We will see. Thanks to whoever it was alerted this - at the very least a lot of fun (And i bought the book!).

LOL - me too - we will have to see if we were right and who was first if thats the case, mind you, lets not count the other thousands who may have got it correct too! LOL!! - I did mine earlier today, when did you do yours?? Wanna trade locations?? I'm keeping mine secret, i know it may sound mean but I really wanna win the prize and think I have a good guess there! Mind you, knowing my usual 'good guesses' - I'm probably a whole continent out!! LOL!!

EDIT: was also tempted to buy the book - does anyone recommend it?

No clues until it's over - wouldn't be fair. I worked it out all on my very ownsome - well and the whole big internet and books and atlases to help.

Well I've already done mine but that's not really in the spirit of this board is it! All the answers on the comps you enter on here are worked out by the posters... And often take a lot of time and effort posting... :rolleyes:

I guess you are right but part of the reason I dont want to say is that even though I think I've come up with a good idea it could be completely wrong and dont want to mislead anyone, with other comps the answer is correct or not correct, with this one you have to put a pinpoint on a map of the world and hope you get it right!! The only person who knows is the company who set the comp in this case!I was just quite chuffed with two of my guesses - I have no idea if either of them are the right ones but I thought carefully about where to put two of em (no atlases involved - lol!) and the other 5 were random - ha ha!! Can't wait to see the answer now (and mine wasn't done anywhere near 12 noon!)
