update on the situation.
spoke to Heidi, and arranged to cancel my bill for last month, and that Vodafone would pay me half of what I had paid for the 2 month before that. I had been advised that if I was prepared to go to court I would have a strong argument to back up my side of the story having never made or received any calls or texts after the date I asked it to be taken off contract. But for the sake of 30 quid, I was happy to settle with what was offered.
