  • Understandably. You would need to remember that they have no intention of actually following through because they have no case. You know that and they know that. They just don't know that you know. :D

    You sound like Donald Rumsfeld..:rotfl:
Went shoplifting at the Disneystore today.

Read the link left by Tom64, that's me. You have NOT been fined whatsoever.

It is a SCAM pure and simple.

Chill out, like i am with a nice bottle of chilled wine and a friend to help drink it. There, you feel better now. Well i do anyway. Karma will catch up with the fraudsters.

Laugh at them and tell all your mates about the nationwide scam too. Word of mouth is very powerful, almost as good as the net.

As long as I don't look like him I'm cool.

The latest correspondence about my parking "fine" for the "offence" that I have allegedly committed.

It's now from a Debt Recovery agency and is threatening me with court, CCJs etc.

I must admit that it's very intimidating so am posting on here again in the hopes of a few more, "It'll be ok! Stick to your guns!" type messages. Words of encouragement.... PLEASE....

Perhaps me and all the hundreds before me could take a class action suing the private parking companies for harrassment and causing stress!
What an unsatisfactory life to lead....the people who own these companies! Making a living by conning innocent people out of their hard-earned cash!

If they had a case against you do you think they'd mess around by sending you letters ? NO, If they had a case against you to mount before a county court they'd get on it straight away, The pure fact that they aren't shows that they won't bother, They'll send you the typical threats of 'Legal' action, Bailiffs, and of course 'Risk to your credit file', All of which is a load of rubbish.

Even if they took you to court (which they won't), Do you honestly think that they can prove that you where the driver of the vehicle at the time ? Of course not.

Even if they did manage to prove that (Extremely difficult), Do you think that judge would honestly place a judgement for £200+ ? when you probably cost them no more then £2.50.

anyways, 99% of cases are a no show because the PPC's know that they don't stand a chance !

Ignore any further correspondence with them, Don't panic, And enjoy life :)

Just remember who 'Hires' these clowns Cough (Mcdonalds), Who obviously think it is acceptable for customers to be conned, I say avoid them.

Let them make threats as much as they like, they won't get anywhere. Its an unenforceable invoice. Just ignore them and they will eventually give up.
