Last year i put in loads of hours of overtime and basically ground myself to a halt due to making myself ill and not giving myself time any "me time" the extra money was absolutly fantastic to have and helped me make major dents in my debt though :j what i would say is to balance it out and give urself time to relax so that u dont get ill :) apart from that go forth and make lots of money ;j ;j :j

My view on over time is take it if it is on offer, you really never know how long you will be in a job with an income.

We unfortunately have no overtime with my company. In the past we used to get a nice bonus every December so if any work needed doing people would do it 'Free' - although we would get time off when it was quiet for Free too.
All of this has now stopped. So I have taken up a job 2 nights a week at a Supermarket - a nice little extra income but a bit tiring sometimes.
