Hi everyone
I've been thinking that a name badge, or sticky label, of some kind would help at the meet since there are going to be quite a lot of people there.
It would be purely optional of course - and just a user name or first name perhaps, to help save all those embarrasing "I'm sorry, who are you?" questions
I might go quite posh and use something like this:-
Please remember that not everybody will want their photographs taken at the meet, so could you give those people a chance to get out of shot before you take your pictures.
You also need permission if you want to post a picture of someone else in a public place such as this forum or your own web pages.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. Hi gang
Well , Im starting my new job tomorrow, and I dont know yet, if Im meant to be working on saturday.
If Im not, Im going to make every effort to pop in, and bring OH. If we are there, I want you all to make every effort to speak to OH, as he will be the one Old styling in our house if the hours I think Im gonna do, end up being as long as i THINK they will! Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Good Idea,
Anyone who is going, and would like one of these badges I'm happy to make them and bring them along. I am always making labels at work anyway and will not take me long at all.
I'll use your avatar user name and, if you pm me, your name.
thanks Squeaky.squeaky wrote:Hi everyone
