I like slightly less mainstream films like 'How to Make an American Quilt' and 'Fried Green Tomatos at the Whistlestop Cafe' [my all time fav]

  • The Cinderella Man which is due out at the end of January is fantastic. I can thoroughly recommend it.
  • Pigsback have a free voucher ATM that you just print and its BOGOF on all dvd's and videos. I refuse to pay their prices but £3.75 for 2 films...I suppose isnt too bad :D

Im a DVD rental tart and recall Martin saying that there are enough companies out there doing free trials to cover a whole year

Being home 24/7 drives me insaine but having the option of films there have made it a little easier for me and takes my mind of the pain...specially if theres some gorgeous hunk in it :rotfl: I also read alot.

I like films with good story lines. Dont really like romance films, but give me a good thriller anyday. Some of the older ones are truly classic. Silence of the lambs, Gorky Park, Seven, Kiss The girls etc etc. I also love films based on history like Schindlers List, Killing Fields etc. A Few good men and The Client are my fav classics though.

With regards to tarting, if you go through a cashback site to take up the offer you even get paid for the free trial. I got £6.50 for screenselect and £3.50 for blockbuster!!!!

My fave film though is "Shawshank Redemption" and though I know we arent talking books here my fave all time read is "Papillon".

What a lovely film with a good lesson incorporated.
Me my daughter (7) and husband watched it yesterday - lovely

    Synopsis
When Xan and his parents discover an orphaned Cheetah cub, they take the cat under their wing. Soon the boy and the cub become inseparable.

There's more to it than that but would be better if you watched it yourself
    I haven't got one!

My OH and me have accumulated a huge collection of films mainly by taping off the TV.We go to the cinema occasionally when there's a film we know we'll like and we do get them on DVD if we know we're going to watch it again and again.

We watch our favourites so often that we can have whole conversations consisting entirely of lines from films-quite sad really :o

    My top ten,in no particular order;
The Godfather- I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse
Jaws- You're gonna need a bigger boat
Gladiator- My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius etc etc
Local Hero- You can't eat scenery
    Brassed Off- Who's the haddock?
A Few Good Men- You can't handle the truth!
Pirates of the Carribean- You spent three days lying on a beach drinking rum?Welcome to the Carribean love
The Lord of The Rings Trilogy-Keep it safe, keep it secret :D
