    Afternoon all.

Quick visit to the Fred, while I'm updating spreadsheets and stuff....;)

Vanilla (((HUGS))) and more (((HUGS))) Words absolutely fail me.:( But I'm sending you strength vibes, anyway. *sigh* Some people just want to stay broken, and will resist all attempts to help them. It's a sad fact.:(

If anyone is wearing fluffy mules, could you spare one and fling it my way? Still sitting here, catching up with odd bits of fred. :o
I don't have any fluffy mules.... but.... one manky old canvas gardening shoe..... INCOMING!!!!:D:D:D:D

I suspect next week will be spent playing catch-up, as Mr LW is wfh tomorrow, so I won't get anything much done in the way of Flying. Still, I got all last week's lists completed, so it won't hurt to skimp a bit this week. We have to visit Central MK when he finishes work, at 14:30 - I have a little list (with apologies to G&S):
    • Bank dog-sitting cheque
    • Boots: herbal tablets
    • Holland & Barrett: veggie jelly crystals
    • Argos: water filter cartridges
    • Mr LW to get his hair cut
    • Waitrose: few bits of groceries
Luckily Ted is fine if left for a couple of hours - all I have to do is leave Classic FM playing for him, and stuff his Kong toy with treats, and he'll be perfectly happy. What he doesn't know is that he's getting a bath when we get back. He has a skin condition, and his owners have sent his bottle of shampoo, and asked if we can bath him twice weekly while he's here, as per the vet's advice. It's a decade since I last bathed a dog, and Mr LW has never done it before, so should be fun!!:D

Utility Room is done. :D I've lost count of how many black bags of rubbish i filled but i think it was 5.

3 cupboards, 4 drawers, under the cabinets and a recycling box full of old shoes decluttered.

On to the bathroom now, this shouldn't take long as there's hardly any clutter in there at all.

I am so not cut out for visiting relatives, it is awful I know but for me the most boring thing ever.

Lacking energy now after sitting in the car/house for hours and hours.

Snap. Waste of a day and £60 in fuel yesterday and now today I am too sore to do anything useful

    Bathroom done. :D

3 cupboards, the tops of the fridge & freezer decluttered. I just need to do the 3 kitchen drawers and the kitchen will be done too. If i'd have known decluttering could be so quick i'd have done it ages ago.

Done something I don't think I've done for years, went to the supermarket and only bought what I went in for....:D

Currently hair dyeing, gone for a brown with blond bits. Hubby home, hangover from hell so he's gone for a nap...:rotfl:

Took DD2 to the park where her friend met up with her and then all the other so called friends who haven't text, rang or called for her since her op all ran up hugging and gushing over her...at least she doesn't feel so lonely. Funnily emough two friends have just knocked on for her. I was getting worried as she was getting really low about it but she's good now.

Going to get rest of tea prepped and then get some paperwork cleared.

Thanks for your company, seafarer's and pigpen.

Thanks, LW - it must have done the trick. Towels are on the line, WM on again, bathroom surfaces decluttered, bathroom bin emptied and a few more holiday bits back in their proper homes. For what it's worth, I think you're great with virtual people, so you can't be too bad in real life. Please let us know how Ted's bath goes, too. I always enjoy reading your posts.

How about visiting (or meeting up with) friends instead, hex and dusty (hope the gardening has cheered you up a bit). :D You're welcome to come for coffee anytime as soon as I've cleared enough space for everyone to sit. :o

My throat's no better, so I'm going to hunt for the tcp. Hate the stuff, but needs must. I've got the distinct feeling of coming down with something as well as AF's company, so I'll stick to decluttering for the moment, rather than energetic cleaning.

baby washing waiting to be put away when Squeak wakes up
    1 worksurface cleared
    units and appliances all done
best make a start on the easy 2nd worksurface and finish clearing the horrible dumping ground of a third worksurface
The floor can then be swept and mopped maybe if I can bring myself to do it.

I may have a functional space then.. oh.. apart from the cooker which is vile!

My dad is currently sanding and filling in the bathroom (more mess before it will be finished!). He brought lots of fruit and veg from the garden with him so I am currently sorting those out and stewing plums. Next will be dealing with the dust in the bathroom so we can seal the walls with PVA tonight and paint it tomorrow. The electrician will be finishing off tomorrow, so on Wednesday I can finally get the house clean.

The bathroom people are coming tomorrow as well to sort out the patio. Hopefully properly this time...

I've decluttered 2 of the kitchen drawers and been to pick up Ds1 at the agreed time and place but he wasn't there. His phone is also off, i'm not a happy bunny. He's done this before when he wanted to stay out later, if he thinks i'm going back out for him he's got another think coming, he can walk now.

Tea is on and i'm going to have a coffee then finish that last kitchen drawer.

ETA Ds1 has just phoned me from hs friends phone to say his phone battery died and he didn't know what time it was . He's walking home now.
