I'm in. House looks rather unusually good after flying last week. Yay. I'm working my way through a pile of magazines while watching antiques roadshow. Can smell roasting chicken from the kitchen. Numnumnum. Only problem is I have to wait for another 1/2 hr or so.

DH is currently melting lead in the kitchen for diving weights so I'm staying well away.

(((hugs))) to all, spoons and mules to those who need them.

    Hi all
Very long time, no see....how's everyone doing? I've had a fairly intensive six months or so, what with starting a new job and TBH the house has seriously suffered.

I very much want to get back on track with it all, so here I am....

Starting at the beginning, level one, and anything else I can manage....here goes:

Monday - Sitting Room and Hallway
    Level One

Open the windows and turn on some music!
    Vacuum floors and sofas!
Declutter the chairs, floor and top of any cupboards!
    Level Two
Vacuum under any furniture you can.. please don't injure yourselves!
Sort out coats, shoes and bags
Clean any ornaments, glass, mirrors, pictures etc
    Level Three
    Check those smoke alarms!
Wipe sofas, paintwork and dusty places
HHC in the hallway.. vacuum floors/stairs, wipe paintwork, fling that junk mail!.. if there is a charity shop bag.. FILL IT!
Empty and wash out vacuum cleaner.. don't forget filters!
    Extras
    1. Catch up on some calls/emails
    2. Binbag dance
    3. Clean switches and sockets
    4. Wipe the windows in these areas
    Have a good evening...

Hope everyone is ok - take hugs, congrats and Happy Birthdays as appropriate.

House isn't too bad (well, I can't do too much damage in under 48 hours!!!) :p but I have lots of things I'd like to get done over the holidays. I need a list!!

Mum is 70 tomorrow so will be going to the cinema in the afternoon and then for Chinese :D

It's thundering and halestoning here. The cat has returned home drenched and has now been sick (sorry).

Well. Roast chicken was delicious but kitchen now looks like a bomb site. Why do roasts seem to cause so much more washing up? Going to sit and digest for a while before tackling with a vengeance. Plenty left for husband to have chicken sandwichs for lunch tomorrow and leftover roast dinner on Tuesday night. The joy of rubberised chicken.

Dog now looking at me hopefully - I've been fed, you've been fed, where is the adoration and Pedigree Dentasitk (he goes mad for them) He's just going to have to wait until I've flown.

ETA. Thanks piggers and toots for the shiny new fred. DH gets hoovering duties tomorrow as he's dropped bits of glue etc all over the SR floor from playing with dive kit.:D
