Yes she does seem like a nice girl really, just used to being coddled rather more than I believe in! Grew up abroad where servants are cheap, lol, think she had me confused for one there for a few days.
At least she is polite and friendly when she is around, which is more than can be said for a lot of teenagers.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j

Glad you're making progress. Teenagers are a difficult species at the best of times and the step-parent relationship can be fraught. Well done on keeping your cool. You'll be glad you did longer term!0

My step daughter never comes here at all and hasn't done since she left to go to university ( long story) so I have never had the chance to forge an adult relationship with her after very difficult teenage years. You are just getting to know this girl at an age where you and she can interact as adults. Sounds to me as if you are making good progress after early problems. Well done.
