Have done the This Water coupon twice this morning (once from the mobile with just SUMMER and once directly online) and only got a 50p off voucher each time instead of the free one. Anyone else tried this today and got the same thing, or is it just me?0

When the text comes through does it say 'free bottle' then print 50p or does the text state it's 50p?0 -

Just an update for the shopping list:

Told them coupon said it was one per product, not per transaction and I had 2 of the product so it would need to be rung through manually, was very polite and cashier obligied. No idea if it was due to change of policy or not. Ive only been couponing for about 2 weeks anyway and have used quite a lot in Sains over the past 2 weeks. Have had quite a few issues with coupons not scanning through on their own, but they have always been honoured. Pleased they were as the ariel stain remover I was buying was the small trial size which was retailing at £2.27 and the coupon was for £2.00 so each one was only 27p :j
I had same problem yesterday. It appears to be with the way their software is programmed.
Very busy in my store so didn't wait for the supervisor but went to CS. She initially said No but when I pointed out it was one coupon per product she agreed it was daft and gave me my £2 back in cash.
It is annoying but I feel we shouldn't hassle HO too much or they might take the option of no vouchers!0 -
[QUOTE=Mrs Toast;
Also, I've had the same problem with Sainsbugs. I wanted the Lenor offer but the SA couldn't scan the second coupon. She did try several times though but the till told her only one per transaction but she suggested going to CS. Went to CS and got the trout and she said as the coupon said 'one per purchase' this meant one per shop and not one per item. She didn't mention anything about no more than one of each type of coupon.[/QUOTE]
As you will see from my previous post, I argued that as I had purchased 2 items this was 2 transactions which my CS accepted.
There is definitely a problem with the way their software is programmed so best option if items are not on BOGOF is to put the 2nd one through on it's own as a separate purchase.0 -

English is not easy to understand:D and not all CS fully understand the meaning/definition of the word.:rotfl:
The Meaning of :
one coupon per purchase, simply means that you can only use one coupon per purchase of an item. if you are buying 2 & you have 2 coupons to redeem the same products then you can use it. Even if it is BOGOF
one coupon per transaction, simply means :-
1) purchase 1 item use 1 coupon only for each of your 1 transaction.
2) If you are going to use multiple of the same coupons, then you have to make several trips to the shop.
3) You can play their game too if you like :- do multiple transaction on the same converyor belt:rotfl:then look at the cashier's face - only do this to the cashiers that you don't like ie:-trouty:D well they can't stop you b'cos that is what the coupon T&C states.
I can't give you an example b'cos like I said before those people are reading what you are up to. I am posting this so that you can train/teach your staff to understand that it is not right for us customers to pay for the groceries as well as to explain the definition of T&C:eek:RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0
