  • Right people I've just had the worse experience at Sainsbury's ever.
Went in with 4 coupons for the lenor, and 4 for the stain remover. All coupons were orig. and stated one per purchase.
Went to check out, and was told that Sainsburys, now only except 1 different coupon in each transaction. i.e only one lenor and 1 stain per transaction:eek:.
This is no problem for the stain remover, but ruins the lenor offer.
After an heated argument with a snotty nosed supervisor, she told me the policy change occured 2 weeks ago. I think she's talking a load of rubbish, but before I have my rant with sainsbury head office, I wondered if anyone has used more than 1 of the same coupon in one trasaction in the last 2 weeks, at any sainsbury store.
    Thank you.

Hiya, Yes I used 2 ocean spray and 2 of the Wright's bread mixes this afternoon in a Wolverhampton store, together with several other printed coupons. The SA didn't bat an eye. HTH

Yes I had a bit of a run in at Sainsburys today. I was using a SS till but I did only have a basket of things, about £20 worth. The SSS girl had to put the MOCs through for me and told me that I should use a normal till if I had MOCs (I said the noramal tills were very busy as they were) and grumbled and moaned becuase she said it showed on her card everytime she had to do something manually through the SS till and it meant she could nto deal with other people at the tills.

Everything I had a MOC for was legit, all different and 3 were Sainsburys own till spit MOCS

It would be very useful if we had a letter from Sainsburys with the MOC usage policy. I am dithering wether to email Sainsburys HQ, I really dont want this girl to get into trouble. But I dont want to have to go to a normal till if I have a basket of items or have to put itmes through one at a time if i have a MOC for it.

Mind you if several of us emailed sainsburys over the weekend to say we have not had the usual pleasant experience that we normally have on our trips to Sainsburys and we wanted to know for sure what the national Sainsburys policy was regarding MOCS.

  • So sorry if I'm being thick or have missed a post - I've not read through the last few pages as I've spent all day fighting with my router, coupon printer software and ruddy Firefox - but is anyone else having problems with Method and the Share a Shower thingy on FB? I've done it 4 times but it's not giving me an option to print the MOC.

    OR is it? LOL

Tesco would only take one coupon for Cif which was on BOGOF so had to pay £1.75 for the 2 bottles. Could have took them to Iceland and got a smaller bottle for free as its only £1 there.

i used 10 ocean spray coupons in one shop today. this was all i bought and paid £1.50 :) hth
  • Been to sains today too. Had an issue with one of my ariel stain removers as apparently it said I could only use one. Told them coupon said it was one per product, not per transaction and I had 2 of the product so it would need to be rung through manually, was very polite and cashier obligied. No idea if it was due to change of policy or not. Ive only been couponing for about 2 weeks anyway and have used quite a lot in Sains over the past 2 weeks. Have had quite a few issues with coupons not scanning through on their own, but they have always been honoured. Pleased they were as the ariel stain remover I was buying was the small trial size which was retailing at £2.27 and the coupon was for £2.00 so each one was only 27p :j
