    Morning!
Wow La E that is some overtime!
Thanks for starting us off ixia.

I am currently sat at DB2's house using his iPad which I am finding very difficult! Think it's actually easier to post on my phone!!!
    This is me today:-
    - [STRIKE]Check banking[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Go into town for hair cut in a bit, DB2 paying as I drove up here last night to bring his Son up[/STRIKE] :-)
    - [STRIKE]Check 'spare' money to see if I can afford to...[/STRIKE]
    - ...Buy expensive heat defence stuff, might stop me needing my hair cut every 4 weeks with all the drying and straightening I do :-( - didn't need too! Hairdresser said my hair wasn't as damaged as I was whining about and that it was nothing to worry about :D
    - [STRIKE]Trip to coffee shop we normally do here[/STRIKE] :-)
    - [STRIKE]Drive home economically[/STRIKE] Home with 1/2 tank left to spare!
    - [STRIKE]DD's nursery fayre later, don't spend too much! Must withdraw cash for this![/STRIKE] OMG! I actually can't believe they charged to get in, then all the activities etc were 50p/£1 each! What a rip off! It's not as if they don't get enough in fees anyway!
    - Was going to pop up to another fun day but DB3 has gone away and his gf has to work so we might be like lemons... Not going, can't afford it now anyway!!!
    - [STRIKE]Baking this afternoon, need choc chips[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]1x HC[/STRIKE]
    - [STRIKE]Dry on aired if weather still iffy[/STRIKE]
    - Mow lawn
    - Dinner from stores
    - [STRIKE]Buy envelopes for eBay sales in 99p[/STRIKE]
    - Stay in tonight and watch film friend has leant me, have DD so no great loss!
    - Update MSE diary later
    - See if I can skip a weeks shop, don't seem to be eating much at the moment! DB3 has gone camping and seems to have emptied the cupboards to do so! Was a bit annoyed that I couldn't make DD a sandwich when I got home because he'd taken the loaf of bread and not got one out of the freezer...oh and also I couldn't empty the kitchen bin (HIS JOB!!!) because he'd used the last bin bag to hoof out his car!!!!! (Mum.....like father like son huh?!)

Got an idea that today will be a very spendy day...see you on the other side!

    J x

So is this a lesson never to get an Ipad? I've just come back off hols and it's been lovely. No net (though missed my macbook terribly) and like no news cos we were hostelling :)....cost £400 including travel and spending monies for 2 of us for 10 days hostelling round scottie (not including the easyhotel monies we'd already paid last year - budget hotels are budget for a reason...hostels are better :))

Good morning everyone. I've been up for hours and achieved nowt to speak of! I'm in the mood to do absolutely nothing so first off is to find a big bucket of enthusiasm!
    ......
I'm gonna sit and stitch now... :D

I have that most mornings ...I think it's my pills.....sorry to hear you're having such a derriere of a day - pray today is better :)

As for candy with her family probs...You are so brave to post them on here and get advice and heed it about what might help. Tell your wee family member if it was me he would have gotten that text at 6am cos that's when I get up LOL.....

I have no magic pearls of wisdom sorry Candy but praying you can resolve stuff. If it doesn't rain it pours and remember no one has the perfect family ....hugs hun... I have problems with PS (psycho sibling) who is also my twin...she bites my head off for no reason every time I phone and never texts or emails. She's phoned once this year, (last week) and I was busy so didn't see it till the next morning. Texted her - nothing back.....As Ma says - she's so paranoid about me she doesn't realise what she's missing....And when I challenge her cos she's manipulative she'll accuse me of being abusive...Funny the supposed 'sane' one of the two of us can't tell the difference :rotfl:.

Also Ma and I had a terrible year last year (every time I met her I promptly lost about 10lbs in weight ) and yet after 6 months CBT her and I have just had a fabulous 10 days backpacking. Seriously it was that good we didn't want the holiday to end!!!. We had one huge row which just lasted a night and a few minor ones (mainly caused by Ma's deafness) and that was it...... So not plain sailing and no I'm not dieting right now so you can tell it went well. Even on the Isle of Skye I managed to get 6 meals for the two of us for about £13...Yay :) (just pasta, veggies and mince and the mince was expensive but really good quality)....

So yeah..that's me...Agendas to follow at some point. Had a few blips with the cigs and one lot of being high cos I was having too much nicotine but now back on track. I guess I just have to accept I'm very likely to smoke when psychotic but it doesn't mean I have to go out and buy 6oz...an oz max will do me just fine (sometimes even 1/2 oz)....

    Morning Gang

Hello to all – been awake since 4:30 mulling events around my head! No response from either brother or brother in law, so have sent this email….

I can’t believe it has come to this and we have all fallen out after I sent a text message at 9AM. So we can all move on, I think its best that you come off my facebook so you and BIL can get on with your own lives.

I feel a bit let down and extremely hurt that BIL is willing to throw away 19 years of friendship over something as silly as a text message. This all started because instead of having his phone on silent when he is asleep or texting back, BIL decided to post on an open forum a insulting rant on how I woke him up. When I read this, it felt as though he had kicked me and out of shock I felt I had to go on the defence. I have been talked about on FB in the past and found it quite hurtful as the person didn’t know me and I have always considered BIL to be another Brother. How stupid am I?

Since Friday night, I have been upset that BIL could act so childish, and this comment on your facebook status was unnecessary:
    And this comment
TO NON-PET OWNERS who visit our homes. Don't complain about our pets. (1) They live here, you don't. (2) If you don't want their hair on your clothes, stay off the furniture. That's why they call it 'Fur'-niture. (3) Chances are, I love my pets more then I like you. (4) To you, they are animals. To me, they are family who are furry, walk on all fours & don't talk back. ♥ Re-post if you love your pets,or even someone elses x
I agree, chances are that you do love your pets more than you like me (as I am not really a fan of ‘the girls’.

No doubt comments will be made on facebook the fact that I have had to resort to sending you an email, but as I have had no other contact with you.

Anyhow, its not like I wont see you around – weddings, funerals, and exchanging Christmas cards. Just remember, you have a Nan who is getting on a bit and isn’t going to be around forever and a brother who you have decided to disown (who is actually a decent human being).

One of the proudest moments in my life was when you and BIL were able to marry, and I feel privileged that you allowed me to be present.

The final bit of information that I wanted to pass on to you (that I have been carrying around all these years) is that the weekend before he died, Dad said that the next time that he saw you, he would be in a wooden box – he must have known!

While we are on the subject of Dad, I know that at the time you were angry that we didn’t keep him alive until you were able to get to him – what I want to tell you is that he had already died and sure he might have been bought back to life, but 1) he would have hated being trapped in a body which wasn’t fully working and 2) I very much doubt that you would have moved back to help care for him…..no, you would come back once every 3 months, acted like Florence Nightingale, no doubt criticised everything we were doing and then go back to your own life.

Anyhow, that’s about all I have to say to you, I refuse to be upset any more. If you give me plenty of notice of when you are coming down, I will make alternative arrangements.

Doubt I will get any form of response to this, but TBH if BIL is not willing to accept that he has done something wrong, then do I want him as a member of my family?

    Today I have/will do:
    • Meals from stores
    • Emailed brother
    • LSD – might go to the gym later
    • Do my nails – file and buff to within an inch of their life….didn’t do this yesterday
    • Read newspapers online
    • Watched a couple of things on the sky box
    • Checked online banking – no change
    • Have an afternoon nap as was awake stupidly early
    • Do online comps
    • Done a couple of surveys
    • Drink plenty of water
    • Take meds to sort out hormones
    • Put washing on at 30 degrees
    • Need to catch up with the thread from this week as been really busy

Think that is about it – I am sure there will be things I have forgotten.

    Have a fabby one!
    Candy xxx

Ok sorry to be butting in again but I don't want to see you getting more upset over this - feel free to not listen or tell me to shut up & stay out of it or whatever, but here are my thoughts on this...

Yes your BIL was acting immaturely with that comment, there was no need for it...BUT he did it & unless someone invents a time machine there is no way of changing that. Unfortunately, because you (& I don't mean this in a negative way as I am just the same sometimes I think) are a sensitive soul & have sadly been subjected to bullying in the past you took quite great offence to it & took it imo a little out of hand. I understand why you did it & you thought you were protecting yourself but you just kind smoked the fire a little.

I think you're reading into things too much as well - that status about pets was probably just put up as a laugh, nothing to do with you.

I think the lack of comments from your brother indicate that he just wants to stay out of it & is probably hoping this will all blow over (as it should, silly comments should NEVER, EVER get in between family, blood related or not). Now by you deleting him from FB & sending that email you're pushing him away, whether you mean to or not. If I was him I'd be really hurt by that. You're basically sending out the message that because of a tiff between you & his partner, you don't want him around anymore. They may be a couple but they are still 2 separate people - even if things cannot be resolved between you & BIL please do not push your brother away...the argument is not with him.

Right this is turning out to be much longer than I anticipated so let me get to the point:- Yes this is not your fault entirely, but you've not helped the situation & are blowing it up to be bigger than it needs to be (although I understand how you must be feeling). Get in touch with the pair of them, preferably by phone so there can be no misinterpretation with how things are said & apologise & say you don't want this, you want them both in your life & for this silly argument to just be forgotten about. If they're worth anything they will agree with you & things can get back to how they were - life is far, far too short to fall out with family over petty little comments.

Good luck hun, & I'm really sorry if anything I said has been too blunt or harsh, I don't mean it that way xxx
