    Morning all,

But grey here this morning, but looks like it might brighten up later on, I hope so I have two big loads of washing to do.

Jackie G hope the day went well xx

    Dazi good luck for today.

We need to pop to the diy shop today, and buy several bits for the bathroom project, we plan to have every thing we need here ready for our week off, then crack on with it.

Later on I shall go and see my dad, will take him some little cartons of juice as he is not drinking enough, will get a mixture, he should be able to hold them himself.

DD and friend are still in bed, as is OH which is unheard of, he is normally up and at the car boot sale, but slept in this morning.

Dinner tonight will be bbq spare ribs, with salad and pitta breads.

    Hugs for Lou xx

Flutterby, good luck with the move.

:bdaycake::bdaycake:Happy Birthday to Jayward, have a great day xx

    Morning :hello:
    Happy Birthday Jayward :bdaycake:_party_

Hope you're all OK, I haven't been popping in here very often lately, I'm far too busy being selfish to be doing OSey things :D My strike is going very well, the bathroom and kitchen are clean and I didn't do it, lol. They weren't cleaned OS-stylee though, I found a new bottle of Harpic  in the bathroom.

Poor Baz Pig is struggling with her feet, just as one foot is clearing up another breaks out (bumblefoot). The vet has doubled her dose of Baytril so we'll see how that goes. I bought her some finger bandages to try and keep her feet clean. They're a nightmare to put on, but she's now limping around with 2 blue 'socks' :rotfl:

As for me, I'm floating around the house smelling lovely, with super smooth skin and painted toenails. And my hip is healing :)

Good morning everyone. I'm taking a well earned break after doing housework / sorting out animals for the last 3 hours! Got family coming tomorrow which will be great to see them - but I'm going to spend most of the rest of today cooking! Still not sure what I'm going to make though - they're coming for lunch and dinner. We'd optimistically planned a lunchtime BBQ but I don't think the weather will be that kind to us. Never mind - I shall have fun working out what to do, then probably end up covering my now clean kitchen in flour!

Hope everyone else has a good day today.

    Morning All.

Dazi I hope the son shines for your son's wedding today, and you have as lovely a day as we had yesterday.xxx

Good luck with the move Flutterby!

Well, thank you all for the good wishes for my sister and brother in law, we all had an amazing day :D

She was gorgeous, we were all almost late as I was the only one who had the sense to check the route / where it was, and they had to convoy behind me, and we kept getting separated at the traffic lights. Consequently the bride arrived before her entire family :rotfl: But my uncle just kept her in the car. The ceremony was very emotional, and I broke down doing my wee reading, which I will post below, its was very beautiful and appropriate and I think they liked it, if not the female audience did, not one of us had a dry eye:o

Lunch was lovely, and well received, the sun shone like it hasn't for a week up here, with not a drop of rain, the speeches were lovely, and the Best Man did them proud. They even had a telegram from a friend who is on holiday - I didn't even know you could do that anymore! The DJ was booked for 2 hours, but we were enjoying ourselves so much, and BIL was feeling good, that he stayed another two. We went home at 8.30.

I need to go pick them up, my sister has just called, he is not feeling very well and wants to go home from the hotel, so I will be back later with the rest if you aren't bored already!
