    Hmmm it is a good idea but i know that no matter what the size it's just the wrong dress for my body type!! I guess i'll have to buy something else (any excuse to go shopping)!!

    If they're still selling it buy one in the new size and then take the old one back with the new receipt. Problem solved.

    I imagine they record what size as purchased at point of sale. Otherwise they wouldn't know what the most popular sizes was.

    Exactly. Everything has a sku number which will be different for each size.

    If its in the sale would you even get much money back for it?
