I'm moving to Wales. The price!

This is actually my 'if I won the lottery house'

My OH and I go to Harlech a few times a year. We got engaged there. And every time I'm up the top of the castle ruin I lust over this house. Seeing it up for sale makes me want to cry that I can't have it!

And Tremadog just up the road for a spot of evening climbing. Mind you, last time I went to the pub there, I walked in and it all fell silent... Definitely have to learn Welsh!

I keep telling myself if I work hard and don't be reckless maybe I can retire there when I'm ancient!

I'm not greedy, a lotto win enough for this house would do me. Sod the multi million houses that's the one for me.

Although I'd def modernise it :)

Now you've got me browsing. I'm guessing that there is zero employment there for property to be so cheap. Tempting though.

Harlech is tiny. Unless you are a doctor, work at the school or fire station, or one of the tiny banks, there's no work. And to commute would take forever. Ive looked into it, hence it's a lottery dream. It's one of my fave places in the world though :) my other lottery win house is even cheaper. At the min it's a holiday rental, we go there twice a year. At one point it was up for sale for £249950 last year. What do you think, I love it :)

You can't see floor plans but its got a lovely pantry off the kitchen and a huge utility room with shower room and loo. Upstairs is bathroom and then another loo. It used to be a school masters house and the exterior matches the school a few yards up the road :)

EDIT: now I'm depressed. My lovely holiday house is back up for sale! £195k!! God if I had that small lottery win I'd have it to tomorrow! That's what comes of trawling zoopla!

Do you mean the tower? I imagine it's original. I live in a similar house and 1 in next road has a tower.

Thanks - I had only looked at it quickly. I still don't think it looks "right" though. I think it's the middle section that's the problem.

And only one other (surprisingly almost empty) picture of the interior. What can the rest be like?
