Thanks. It's odd though as the door looks quite substantial. Yale lock? If not careful you could lock yourself in the shower room.0 -
Bungalows came from India originally and a veranda/porch out front was part of the design but this one is more wild west than indian tea estate.

 A bungalow. With a flight of stairs clearly visible in Picture 4.:huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -

Can't quite make this one out. From street view there is no indication of its size. Why does the bedroom in picture four have a door like that?
Looking at the floor plan, I think that is bedroom no 3/study. It is an exterior door to the pool area, is it not?0 -

It's leading to the room set in the roof. Perfectly acceptable definition for a bungalow to be a low building with room in the roof space. What counts as a bungalow varies across the world too.0 -
ast one for now - spot the (rather aggrieved-looking) cat.

Yep, it's lurking behind one of the kitchen cupboards in pic 9, giving the photographer the sort of dirty look only a cat can manage!Back after a very long break!0 -
Streetview rather contradicts the desciption of this being 'tucked away from passing traffic'!

And neither of the TVs in the 'bungalow' seem to be positioned where anyone would actually be able to view them properly.Spend less now, work less later.0 -
Check out the carpet in picture 4 with matching footstool.

Google indicates properties on that road have good sized gardens, especially so near the town, but Haart in their wisdom haven't bothered to upload a picture. It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

Project house anyone? It's on the At Risk register, hence the price of 'just' £2 million - but what a house it'll be when it's restored....

In effect it's on a dual carriageway! It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.
