    I used to work nearby in Filton..... let's just say Southmead had the reputation of somewhere you drive through with your doors locked and don't stop in case your wheels get nicked.

    Not that different to that of our worst area then:rotfl:. Though maybe ours has improved a bit - as I notice their houses are still much cheaper, but not quite as "cheap as chips" as they used to be. Though, mind you, I've been through another local bad area on charitable type business and our transport got stoned and we got shouted at:eek:. We beat a very hasty retreat...

  • southmead had it's own panorama episode a few years ago - do a youtube search for 'southmead panorama' to see some of it's 'delightful residents'
