Pic 6 or 12.
It isn't quite as odd as the house with the bath in the kitchen, but not normal, surely
Was that their attempt of an en-suite?! I thought the properties round there already had them.0 -

If you look at the floorplan, the main pipework is at the back of the house. That's where the kitchen and bathroom are. So, there's bound to be a problem with the drainage for that shower in the front bedroom.
Their solution is just visible in the outside photos. They've put a pipe through the front wall and into the gutter round the porch. :rotfl::rotfl:No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

In the winter, won't the shower water in the guttering steam? All the neighbours will know when someone's having a shower.0 -

Not only some poor camera work but what is the pine step thing in picture 14 about?!0 -
I have seen this sort of thing in areas of housing stress, for example Brighton.
Houses were built with large lofts and the builders of the lofts never expected them to be occupied.
My bet is that the roof was built with a tie and struts (ie an upside down triangle) between the two relatively small purlins (the mid span support that stops the heavy roof sagging). If I was buying I would need to know what is happening inside the knotty pine panelling - could be a cowboy builder job.0 -
