its not about what's in the pictures (they are all very [STRIKE]nice[/STRIKE] twee) but more to do with what it is, its price  and the overblown hard sell from the EA trying to persuade you to use their finance package. I especially like the bit about "you can't release equity from this property" so get a loan from us rather than overcommitting your own finances. Great advice :rotfl:

Is that the one with a Box Hill address? If so, I've been there (looks familiar). It was very nice (twee though as you say) but they had seriously strict policies about stuff like how often your grandchildren could stay over. Don't think I'd like to live there. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.

I spent many a happy day on the beaches and clifftops there. And yes, it was always very hot, sunny with not a cloud in the sky and it never rained. Winters of course were similar only it got dark earlier.
Then I grew up.
Which is why I'm looking in the areas you suggest.
The sea view they show from that property isn't unlike the one from the front of my house, in the sense that the land plunges away steeply to the beach, so what can be seen is the grassed foreground, then some water that's maybe 1/2 mile or more out.
In my case, there's a very picturesque valley instead of the sea. I see the other side of it and the woods & hills beyond, but annoyingly, not down to the river at the bottom or even the fields with cows or sheep in them, close to hand.
People visiting here often comment favourably on the wide view, but they don't realise how important middle distance is. All the best sea views include the beach IMO.
As a young person, I lived high on the edge of Exmoor. Again, there were huge views and skies...sometimes. At this time of year, we could spend day after day in the clouds. As a grumpy teenager, marooned there, I remember swearing that I'd never be stupid enough to buy a house 800' above sea level.
So far so good!0 -

Owner occupiers don't drain off the plumbing system, even in the winter, they leave the heating on very low.
Beside the tape on the taps, the fact that the entire kitchen has been removed is a bit of a give-away.
Someone has done a brilliant job glyphosating the lawn too. :cool:0 -

Except the one from your "infinity" swimming pool ? When a few rocky outcrops add perspective;)

Do the terms and conditions include having to sell the caravan home back to the site owner?0
