I may be a bit weird but I actually really like the bathroom pic 15. And the dining room is fab! :D

There must be something from every decade in that house. My particular favourite feature is the toilet roll holder on the side of the turquoise bath.
  • I think the shower, which seems to ahve been added in the corner of the master bedroom , dates from the 1970s
  • i like the black and white bedroom really my theme

I think the majority of the stuff is from one decade, but bravo to the owners for so heroically resisting modernity....

I noticed the placement of that toliet roll holder too - looks like quite a stretch from the position where you're going to need it most....

    Previously the description read:
"The property is approx 47 years old & owned & built by its current owners."
So I would guess the decade in question would be the 1960's.

I doubt it was so much a case of resisting modernity, more one of this is exactly how they want their house to be, with everything they needed where they wanted it to be, so there was no need to change it.

I think it is fab: it must be fantastic to be able to live in a house that you built yourself and obviously love for nearly 50 years. And I'm sure they do love it as the place is so scrupulously clean, it's probably just to big for them now.
Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

Exactly yes, they bought top quality and have looked after it.
  • I can't remember the last time I saw one of those drink bars they've got in the lounge/hall area!

And the alsatian picture in 8/21 is a classic. And nicely faded too.

A ceramic tiled floor in the lounge? That must be cosy on a winter's evening!

Wow that house is amazing! I particularly like the blue lagoon look in the bathroom, I remember having one just like it in 1978!
