To me - that house looks like a case of "We've got a large house on our hands that we don't quite know what to do with - as it's too big for a family house and we can't find a developer to take it on and convert it into flats for sale or rent. So what do we do with it?"
But it's quite definitely top-heavy - way way too many bedrooms for the amount of kitchen available.
I feel so sorry for the neighbours:eek:
Re bathrooms, I thought that too. There are shower rooms x 2. There's only one bathroom as such, so you've got to hope that you don't have 13 residents all of whom want baths. The more I look at it the more I don't like it - fine for the owners who can pack sardines and charge a fortune but horrid for the residents. They really should have reduced the number of bedrooms and upped the facilities. The price isn't even cheap for the area, its about the going rate (per Rightmove).
Like you I too feel sorry for the neighbours. At least the house joined to it looks exactly the same, so therefore will likely have the same usage, though that definitely is then at least 26 people coming and going. Hopefully they don't all have cars with that relatively small frontage  or that's the whole street full. The house to the left looks relatively normal so it will be hard for them if that's not also a student let. Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? This one is absolutely stunning. I still can't get my head round the fact that it is an Elizabethan mansion, built in 2005...

Well we are in the New Elizabethan age given the current queen so why not have an Elizabethan mansion?
And what is a plant room? There is one in the basement next to the cinema.Rational judgement, now, at this very moment.

http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-35919205.htmlCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

We had one of the sheep, looked great, but the collie ran into it as didn't expect it to be where it was and DH had to glue it back together.

One of the more interesting master bedrooms I've seen (no need for a bed - just stick a mattress on the floor ) http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-34401352.htmlThey deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
