I'm top bidder on this piece of floating 'property' (at the moment), but I don't quite understand what the seller means by: "... at the fractional price of a small apartment in Gibraltar or Spain".
Can anyone help please?

As you have only bid 55p, that is indeed a fraction of the price of an apartment.

That's presumably an old regulated tenancy, rather than a modern assured shorthold tenancy. It's much harder for the landlord to evict and the tenant can object to rent increases, which can lead to minimal maintenance being carried out.

It's on the ground floor, so you have a choice of either window. Or maybe down the chimney if it's Christmas.

Fabulous address from - 2 childhood books - peter pan & also the land of green ginger. Much better than the usual tripe planners (or whoever names roads) come up with !
