I reckon they want people on ebay to see their property - but they don't want to sell the property via ebay - so they put up a 'mock' listing whereby what they are selling is a 'view' ie nothing really - but it's got your attention - pop to rightmove, contact the EA then book a viewing. Another way of reaching out to the market. That's my guessing!0 -
How about renting a flat with a magical address, scroll down to Full Description to get the full address

I can imagine people never believing you when you tell them your address:wave:0 -
Must be EA mistake surely? Or is that the joke.
Yes, but they must have entered the right postcode for Streetview, as that goes to a partially-finished estate.
I'm just interested to know how long it takes the dozy beggars to realise. That's a whole working day so far.....
I once went to a viewing of a smallholding with that agency, and the woman turned up in heels! "I'll just leave you to wander around outside, then..." was her last remark as, sinking fast, she tiptoed towards her sports car.*:rotfl:
*She still manages to get that into shots of their more upmarket properties.0 -

So they've had 9 separate bids (may not be 9 people, granted) who want to pay to view. And only 1 of those will win - and therefore get to view.
Eccentric strategy, I agree
Edit: Alternatively, you could just look at the EA's brochure and contact the EA in the usual way

How do you get cars into the garage?

How do you get cars in the garage? I think I've found it on the map and it appears that because they have a large side drive, they have effectively closed off the garden to make it bigger - not a great selling point! We know everyone fills their garages with carp but that's a matter of choice - not one that you want made for you!0
