But I don't understand how some architects and town planners got away with such monstrosities - surely no-one, even at the time they were built would've thought they were nice. Have a look in street view.0 -

by their reckoning I live in an 8 bed house - all you need to do is live without a kitchen lounge bathroom....
There is a kitchen/diner plus two other reception rooms - doesn't seem unreasonable that one of them could be a bedroom. (Same arrangement in my house
