But it's got a veranda. I've always wanted a veranda. Why don't Americans call them verandas? Why do they have porches? I have a porch. It has a door (well 2 actually) and windows.

Well we all know why that is there don't we.....pic 7 (bidet in the actual bedroom - what on earth....?!). I suppose it has its uses......:o (and they've even tried to disguise it with a padded seat!!!!)
