PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Check list:-
1) Yes, I do fancy my builder.
2) Does the property have a decent mattress?
3) Can the EA be persuaded to disappear?
4) Is it sole agency?!
5) Have I misconstrued ?0 -

We only went to that area once and we ended-up with a child and quite a large car repair bill, though not in that order.
Very pretty though, and on the positive side, we somehow dodged the midges.0 -
That's very close to the airport, but not under the flight path. Is it noisy?
Not noisy at all. There was only a small period of about a few minutes at night occasionally when I assume a certain plane is circling , waiting for permission to land when there is an eerie sort of sound . Otherwise I hear more plane noise in London. You would never really know there was an airport apart from the road signs.0 -
