For contrast, this is very near where my mother used to live. They look nice from the outside, but personally I'm not keen on the interior exposed beams look of these types of cottages and being Grade 2 listed there will be costs for maintenance - even if it does date partly from 1650.

That's very close to the airport, but not under the flight path. Is it noisy? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -

Check list:-
1) Yes, I do fancy my builder.
2) Does the property have a decent mattress?
3) Can the EA be persuaded to disappear?
4) Is it sole agency?!
5) Have I misconstrued ?0 -

We only went to that area once and we ended-up with a child and quite a large car repair bill, though not in that order.
Very pretty though, and on the positive side, we somehow dodged the midges.0 -

Not noisy at all. There was only a small period of about a few minutes at night occasionally when I assume a certain plane is circling , waiting for permission to land when there is an eerie sort of sound . Otherwise I hear more plane noise in London. You would never really know there was an airport apart from the road signs.0 -
