that place is truly in a time warp. look at the old black rounded light switches!
To be sold by Auction: Starting price - £220,000 (Reserve price is higher & unpublished)
We fitted some like those (fours and singles, but in brass) at our last-but-one house in 2012
It'll be interesting to see the hammer price for that.....Mortgage-free for fourteen years!
Over £40,000 mis-sold PPI reclaimed0 -

pot belly barbecue - check
light blue kitchen cupboards - check
cooker with overhead grill- check
beaten copper fire canopy - check
JVC telly - check
fake log gas fire - check
chandelier with dangly crystal bits - check
plastic leather chairs (make you sound like you're perpetually farting) - check
Contiboard wardrobe with detachable door - check
30m2 cracked concrete - check
You're right. Ah, those were the days!
(Soon be heading back to them now! :undecided):) Though have to say I still like overhead grills. So much easier to keep an eye on what's going on. Such a shame they're out of fashion.

Absolutely. We had a couple when we first moved to our previous (late Victorian) house. I SO wish we'd kept them when the electrics were updated. Kicking myself in retrospect.0 -

Doorsteps in Harrow don't know what a floorplan is
Apologies edgex, I do not understand.
That magnificent property is somewhat north of Harrow, on the Isle of Bute; or it was when I posted it!
Or is my ancient Scots-English in need of an update?:)
"Doorsteps in Harrow" - Err. Could it be what folk in Watford call certain folk just up the road from them??
Help!0 -
