Look at street view for this one. Though the "latest" images on Google are from 2011. Looks like they were starting to build something - but given the rather grubby surroundings, am curious why they don't show the exterior in the photos. A "lower ground floor arranged over three floors to provide: lower ground floor; bedroom three and bathroom" " in the specs, as if it is partly underground?

You'd think so, but contractions aren't particularly valued. You don't usually hear them for 'apples & pears' or 'trouble & strife,' for example.

But they happen. The expression "I was all on me jacksy" comes from the slang for alone: 'Jack Jones. Also,' "Me plates are killing me!" would be a common contraction for 'plates of meat' = feet

So, yes, 'A load of Jacksons' sounds fine to me, though I was only born in the East End and never lived there for more than the first few days of my life!
