And possibly the smallest avocado bathroom seen for a long time.
I'm sure the EA must be chuckling to him/herself while writing that description. :rotfl:0 -

Pic 4 - his and her tvs?
Pic 8 & 9 - !!!!!!
Best thing about the house is the lovely name of the street.
But quite incongruous.0 -
Looked like a load of Jackson Pollocks to me!
Genuine Cockney here BTW.
Also genuine educational question from a Scots-ArgyBargy conceived in Wales, who once did an intense rhyming slang course with her OH's London mate.....takes breath: Wouldn't you normally leave the Pollocks out of it and just say "Looked like a load of Jacksons to me"? Or have I failed again?:(0 -
Look at street view for this one. Though the "latest" images on Google are from 2011. Looks like they were starting to build something - but given the rather grubby surroundings, am curious why they don't show the exterior in the photos. A "lower ground floor arranged over three floors to provide: lower ground floor; bedroom three and bathroom" " in the specs, as if it is partly underground?

But they happen. The expression "I was all on me jacksy" comes from the slang for alone: 'Jack Jones. Also,' "Me plates are killing me!" would be a common contraction for 'plates of meat' = feet
So, yes, 'A load of Jacksons' sounds fine to me, though I was only born in the East End and never lived there for more than the first few days of my life!0 -
You'd think so, but contractions aren't particularly valued. You don't usually hear them for 'apples & pears' or 'trouble & strife,' for example.

Terrible pictures! Looks like the estate agent took all the photos on their mobile phone and (except for pic 1) didn't even have the gumption to do them in landscape mode...

From the EA's website:
Our photographer will visit your home with the latest technology, ensuring your properties images are captured correctly. We also don’t limit the amount of images used to market your home.
These lovely photography skills are fully inclusive.........a floor plan will cost you £49 extra though.0 -
