Houses like that don't make me sad at all. The person(s) who has ceased to live there had a comfortable life and managed to keep the place up-together, which is surely what we hope for when old age or ill health overtakes us./


I only feel sad about the houses where the occupants clearly became overwhelmed by the demands of maintenance and organised daily living.

Not a lotta good against fall out as it stands, but with an extra wall and a roof it might make a passable bunker.

Hey, I'm clearing out stuff for a move, and found a box of those small floppy discs this week! And I have a cardboard box full of videotapes that I need to take a decision about....and yes, I do have a player for them...
