Seen this sort of thing in France, not seen it for the UK before.
Most famously Jeanne Calment.
At the age of 90 she sold her house to a 47 year old man, the conditions of the sale were that the buyer had to pay a fixed monthly sum to her in additional to letting her live there for the rest of her life. Given their ages he no doubt thought this would be a wise investment for his retirement but it didn't quite work out that way as Mrs Calment lived to 122, actually outliving her buyer who died aged 77.0 -

I am fascinated by this one. Way overpriced considering the length of the lease, so no wonder it is not selling. The furniture, coupled with the lease length, suggests someone older, but there are clear signs of young children. Bathroom modern, kitchen awful. So many possible scenarios ...
