Looked a very muscled, masculine arm, so I didn't bother.....but curiosity got the better of me..... and at 170% I realised what it really was!

No. Although our first house was in the road opposite there, back in 1989

I recall my parents went to look at buying a flat to let out in that building when originally converted....and it's marketed by the EA we used a couple of times when we lived in Southsea (known affectionately as Sly & Bent, lol :rotfl:).....

Edited to add - Just checked sold prices on RM and our old house (sold in 1992 for £65k, iirc) doesn't appear to have changed hands since records began (1997?). However, I did notice on Streetview that a screen I made for the house and sold to our buyers is still in the front bay window!

At £950K I think the value is in the development potential, unless Skeggy prices have recently rocketed.

That's a lot of property and land all on the seafront. As a child I used to live near what had once been a small, private sanatorium that had almost identical architecture and location but on the N.E. Coast...Doctor in main house - patients in the back - plenty fresh air and room for exercise? It only closed to T.B patients in the 1960's. This place is spookily similar.
Or - given its location/proximity to the Golf Course - they were just B&B bedrooms.
