It's hard to see why this house isn't selling (other than the price, and the small bedrooms)... until you check the street view! The estate agents have been a bit naughty.

 Is that even legal? You can see the edge of the tree is a bit blurry where it’s been photoshopped in the first couple of pictures.

I'm obviously missing something, but then I'm not very good with Streetview:o

Is there 'an idiot's guide to Streetview' or 'Streetview for dummies'? I know the basic principles but find it hard to navigate & the couple of YouTube videos I've watched didn't help.

    Thanks for any pointers.

The street view isn't great, it takes you to the house behind the one for sale. Try this link.

What a put off! I'd hate to think that someone has travelled a fair distance to view the house - only to be smacked in the face with that !

I dare any of you contacting the EA to explain why they removed it from the property's blurb.

One must be prepared. It's a well-known 'fact' that King John buried all his treasure somewhere in Corfe, and it's never been found.

(Used to go there every year with a horde of kids and I'd tell them this on arrival. Sadly, they had no luck either, but it kept them interested! :))

That's interesting - I have seen plenty of standard plug sockets in Eu house bathrooms, albeit generally not at low levels, sometimes very high up.

As far as I know there is no increased risk of people getting electrocuted abroad in bathrooms even with huge metal boxes in them. I wonder if our regs are over zealous, or just outdated from the days fuses were a piece of paperclip-thick wire?

When we lived in Spain we had our washing machine in the downstairs cloakroom. There and in the bathroom was quite common and a MUCH better idea than having them in kitchens.

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

Even the pine ceiling and purple bathroom, it looks good value.
