It's good but not quite as good as this house in Bearsden that was up for sale a couple of years ago.

Going by the floor plans there is a kitchen and an adjoining preparation kitchen which has a utility room off of it.

    That's the 1970s for you.

I've just realised the duvet cover in pic 12 is a first cousin of one of our 'decorating cloths'. Same colours except ours has circles instead of squares. I inherited this monstrosity with my OH, I think it came from his mother's house.

TBH the Beccles house has worn much better than many people who were also on-trend at the time.;)

London Style seems to mean: plastic grass, outdoor sofas, no plants you have to actually garden at.But look at that lighting!

Some of the house could qualify as "London style" and ...yep...the garden could.

Basically - as I see it - I would say "London style" means = modern and simple and doesnt look cheap.

That's how it comes over to me anyway - as I'm from a city that has a noticeable number of houses doing "London style" pretty soon after London does so iyswim and yep...I could probably be summed up as "London style - at 6 months to a couple of years or so after London" (even after moving here). Our style is either "London style - not much after London" or "sorta academics house type style" quite often (ie piano possibly?/lotsa books definitely (tick....LOL)/higher things on my mind (tick LOL).

One of the first comments made about my new kitchen here was "London style" - and yep...it's modern/simple/doesnt look cheap.

I guess it's a matter of taste because the house looks a bit Footballer's Wife to me except I don't think Aberdeen FC players get paid that much. :D
