Can't wait for the comments on this one
Could be a fantastic property. I love it
It's the sort of place that I could do all of the work myself as well.
Edit - Just seen the bit about the cider apple trees, even better.0 -
Just stick a table and chairs in and now we have a kitchen/breakfast room!

I get your point. They need removing - as they clutter up what is only a small kitchen.
Otherwise not a bad link-detached house. Can't help thinking that I'd not just rip out the kitchen - but also change that exterior door of utility room (so I didn't feel the need for a net curtain up there - that doesnt do a very good "masking" job anyway).0 -

Rock star quality accommodation
Some of the most amazing views I've seen in a while - but whether I could use quite so many sun loungers in the tropics of West Yorkshire!? I'm guessing the terraces are a substitute for a garden?
Not so keen on the positioning of the master bed in the middle of a room though - call me old fashioned but I like a headboard against a wall.0 -
Yes the days per year that sun loungers would be appropriate 1000' up in Yorkshire probably aren't that numerous. The bonus? Too windy for midges for most of the time.TheGardener wrote: »http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-62656597.html

I know expansive views sell property, but they come at a price. In the day-to-day world, it's the near view that's more valuable, with anything more than about two miles away being just background and hard to scan rewardingly, even with binoculars.
We don't see much of the near view in those photos, but I suspect lots of moor grass, rushes and sheep. Been there, had those, and they're welcome to them!0 -
You'll have to be prepared to go on Ilkley Moor bar't'at! :rotfl:TheGardener wrote: »http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-62656597.html

That's a very precise 'offers over' figure. I wonder if 619,996 would seal it?0 -
I have to disagree with this sentiment. I lived for many years in the city where apart from looking straight up the furthest you could see in any direction before being screened out by buildings was about 50 yards. I now live with separate mountain ranges to two sides and the sea to another. I still find it very rewarding to be able to see an horizon caused by the curvature of the earth and having distant peaks as a backdrop to the view.I know expansive views sell property, but they come at a price. SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

The blurb is pricelessA patio area with outside barbecue is just the spot for everyone to congregate and indulge in a burger and glass of crisp white wine on sunny days
how many days will the new owners do this? This is in Scotland! Most days the sky is as grey as the stones of the house/
What is that black thing in the island in pic 11? Its the dressing room. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
