Console yourself that it will be very bleak in winter. Faces north below a steep north facing slope, so with the altitude, pretty poor location IMO.
That was my reaction - ie "not as a gift". It looks thoroughly bleak and isolated to me. Add that it's right bang on a main road (albeit a deserted-looking road).
One way or another - I wouldn't want it - even if it was totally gutted/done to my taste and there's a nice my-sorta-large town/city a quick walk down the road (haven't checked....).0 -
It's on a busy road aswell Davesnave. Houses in Scammonden don't come up for sale often so I think it will sell well above the guide price.0
