Jealousy is such an unattractive quality
I think it's a lovely house, I'd love to live in a place like that and will openly admit I am jealous. I just think she comes across with a pious attitude in that interview. Anyone with a blank cheque can make a place look nice.
I don't think she'll get above £1m for it though."The only man who makes money from a gold rush is the one selling the shovels..."0 -

It's probably the most diplomatic word they could think of, although the EA's true opinion of the vendor comes out a bit more in the description of the upper level: " 'L' shaped area that the vendor uses as a bedroom"
And having seen the colour scheme and the wall of shoes (pic 6), I have a good idea of what our good lady vendor is like too.....0 -

1.2 million for an apartment where if you are in bed you would be able to hear your partner using the toilet OR even worse SEE them *shudder*
Also that staircase freaks me out!My home is usually the House Buying, Renting and Selling Forum where I can be found trying to (sometimes unsucessfully) prove that not all Estate Agents are crooks. With 20 years experience of Sales/Lettings and having bought and sold many of my own properties I've usually got something to sayIgnore......check!0 -

Style over substance. I think i'd vomit if I had to come down those stairs.
And the toilet is such a romantic thing to have in the bedroom. :rotfl:0 -

No, the article says they bought for £680k and spent £150k doing work so £830k in total. I'd imagine they'd accept £1mn.They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -

The "sculpture" next to the staircase truely makes it. (Nice codpiece). I also agree that they didn't think the bathroom layout through! An opaque wall for the loo PLEASE!They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0
