A mere blink of an eye for some properties in Ceredigion... but yes, I failed to notice that!
Well there is an odd door set-up in photo 3 and all those pipes on show in the kitchen in photo 5!! Which leads one to wonder what else isn't "normal" in that house.
Houses in West Wales will sell in a normal amount of time if they are "normal" and modern - and I think the time some of them take is down to not being to "normal" standards and/or they are old-fashioned. For instance there's one I've noticed recently that "takes the biscuit" for "not normal" - as there are some of those concrete block unrendered walls indoors.0 -
The action in Aber is all taking place elsewhere.A school friend lived round the corner from there, was an area with a few social problems. From what I understand things have improved greatly, however some stigma may remain and the student letting market has taken a hit in the last few years.
This place, stuck out on a limb, isn't going to appeal to student landlords or the older generation, so the market is definitely limited.
Vendor paid £130k in 2009. Doesn't seem to have been a great investment.
If I were them, I'd definitely get rid of that first photo!0 -

A 3 bed at a reasonable price for the location, with an added water feature...
Would this be a plus or a minus for buyers?!
I still wouldn't want it but it has to be preferable to an outside one.0 -

Got to carry the shopping as far here and pay much more for the privilege (no real incline though). Plus spot the (staged?) dogs.
Wow, that's some place! I think they have done a good job of the conversion too. Wonder why no view of the kitchen though. Surely it has to be something worth seeing.0 -

Minus indoor or out for me.0 -

With the price of skips, any hole in the ground would be a plus, but that place is so pig-ugly, I wouldn't know how to save it from itself.paddyandstumpy wrote: »http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-71305745.html

Strange that the en suites are attached to the smallest bedrooms. I daredn't think what the heating bills would be to heat it to a decent standard. You'd need a cleaner full time for at least 2days!christiem94 wrote: »If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

Let's stick a bed in the living room, then we can call it a 2 bed flat!
And the pictures of the surrounding area make you immediately want to move somewhere else!If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

15 photos but none of the bedrooms, looking at the floor plan, there may be a reason. I'll make no comment about the general untidiness.

Pic 7, was it really necessary to leave the dustpan and brush on the kitchen floor. Also using the "lawn" as a car park, Pic 11.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
