Oh yes I'd forgotten that particular little "half truth" (aka lie) that some people use. At least I only got caught out by that lie once - a stay in a b & b where the owner was cross-questioned by me on the phone as to whether it was a quiet road or no and told it had to be a quiet room and swore blind it was.
Cue for me turning up and finding it was a little-used road - but there was a very busy road down at the bottom of the road that totally defeated the doubleglazed windows at keeping the traffic noise out.
Funnily enough I booked straight back out of that b & b after night 1 and cancelled the other nights I'd booked there:cool:0 -

It costs a few bob to have this rather dodgy address too:

Our local stately home is occupied by the Hornyold-Strickland family. Now it does seem to me that if your name is Hornyold the last thing you would wish to do is double barrel it0 -

You've not been to Cov, have you? :rotfl:
Intrigued that they have put Cov on the address. Corley is in North Warwickshire Borough, and most people living to the North of the city would say Warwickshire even if they weren't .... but then that would put it up against some genuine tudor in the most admired house category!!moneyistooshorttomention wrote: »ugh! and is the reason for them selling up there in the first photo? - ie a field to the left and it's Southern England. Add the two together and there may be a developer or two hovering around in the vicinity....
oooh the age old where does the South of England start?0 -

Blimey that's a horrible house and expensive for such a small place even around there.0
