Looking at the floor plan I am intrigued on how one enters the bathroom...

I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before; it looks like they have excavated a tonne of earth outside an existing semi detached house to build a flat in the foundations

I've driven past there at some point. It's on a relatively steep slope (at least by flat-as-a-pancake-London standards).

    Golf, anyone?

    http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-46335414.html

I'm actually disappointed. I saw this property listing a few months back and the decor was even more 'interesting'. Seems it was taken down while the owner toned it down a little and then re-listed it with new photos.
Property buying/selling timeline - currently into week 21

11/01/21: Offers accepted on both sales & on our joint purchase
25/01/21: Identity checks completed, solicitors instructed
27/01/21: Purchase survey & valuation complete, mortgage offer received
05/02/21: Reduction agreed on partner's sale (under-valuation) & on purchase. Mortgage offer amended
08/02/21: Buyers pack returned to solicitor - sellers packs already returned
    26/02/21: Partner's sale contract signed
    10/03/21: Purchase searches all back
    16/03/21: My sale contract signed
28/03/21: Purchase enquiries satisfied, Title Report & contracts issued, contracts signed & returned
11/05/21: Still waiting on final enquiry in the adjoining chain to be resolved. Consent to break the chain granted, instruction to move to exchange given.

I'm disappointed too. They live in Leeds and put the Gallagher's copied pop art stuff on the walls. Should be ashamed of themselves....

Good call dave, a few beers and The Who through my headphones, pure magic, what a great band. (I have to have headphones, the missus don't go too much on my music, she likes only 1 or 2 records of my Pink Floyd collection but I have seen her tapping her feet to Squeezebox by The Who.
Corduroy pillows are making headlines! Back home in London now after 27years wait! Duvet know it's Christmas, not original, it's a cover.

If I remember correctly, that house was once the family home of the Bentalls - the owners of the large department store in Kingston-upon-Thames.

p.s. the bathroom probably is "authentic", it looks very much like an original example of the sanitary ware of the period.
Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

Is it like that so if you've had one too many and feel a bit green in the morning, you put it down to the reflected colour in the bathroom mirror?

indeed yes, it was the Bentalls' place.

as for original fittings again, agreed, but has the march of time "advanced" us much or not?
I find "modern" also leaves much to be desired as I really don't wish to have simultaneous ablutions next to the wife, that is just too much like being back at school (or in a lower ranks washroom) - wife not included in those cases of course !
