Lots of land, but a ghastly house for the money:

Wow - nearly a million for a 3 bed semi ...but I see its a spit from a station.
A real mid 80's time warp though - all that faux Victorian al la Laura Ashely C 1986 just missing the 'festoon' blinds.0 -

This poor person has taken to sleeping on the sofa as there is obviously nowhere else in the house they could possibly find a space to sleep.....

The shower in pic 5 is either too small for anyone over 5'7 or has a massively high step up, I can't quite work out which it is.
Guess you counted the number of tiles to work out height from tray to ceiling...
I would say it's only for women and short men basically looking at it. That "step up" is probably down to the fact it's a flat - and there is a bit of the communal stairs area intruding up into the bathroom floor and they've had to raise the shower to cope with that and get a shower in at all.
That will restrict the market for who they can sell this to - particularly with people getting taller. I sympathise with them - as I came to realise my last house wouldnt have suited some 21st century size people.0 -
A lot of the papers are reporting this, but all it is is a starting bid of £1. It'll go for 20-30,000 or so, but it's a good marketing campaign.
Probably going to be student digs as the uni is nearbyThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Or they just needed a decent fall on the drain, so the water would run away, and the shower's a fair distance from the down pipe.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Always nice to have a pair of eyes on you whilst using the toilet. Pretty hideous decor throughout...
