    Agreed....

Not forgetting the handrail in bathroom thing.

My definition of a bathroom firm with a deathwish (for themselves:cool:) being one that suggests the customer might like a handrail when gutting a bathroom - and customer isn't elderly yet.....

I have a handrail in my bath and not elderly, Dad installed it when I sprained my ankle so I could hold something whilst standing on my better foot without falling over as got rubbish balance. Also was useful when I was off sick with my bad leg recently

What a stunning setting. I agree, it would make an absolutely idyllic retreat.

Been googling how to purchase a derelict hotel...

I can't stop thinking about it... shame those grand design and restoration man tv shows don't show you have to get the funding to achieve such a thing...

The stain on the headboard in that picture is particularly attractive.

Was I the only one who sniggered at the house name? Imagine having to answer the phone all day with that name at your hotel.

Is this the narrowest house a million pounds can buy?

Drawing room in picture 4 looks more like a corridor.

Marvellous, so you save a chunk of stamp duty costs on the purchase price, but presumably you'll cop for a load extra anyway as you won't be able to reclaim the extra 3% you'll be paying on the purchase price because you can't move in for 5 years. And you'd be paying 40% tax on the rental income if you went down that route.

    Madness IMO.
