I'd come to hate wallpaper as I found it hard work to strip and repaper.
You can always do what the people who used to own my house did, and just keep papering on top, adding lots of layers over the decades so that the new owner (me) gets an exciting history lesson in 50 years of decor trends when they come to strip it!0 -

For instance, http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-28813890.html has been on the market for 3 1/2 years.

The second one was on my list of places to look at for my next holiday let, but it sold before I'd finished the current one. I think it's been bought by the Clan Sinclair Trust, who own the neighbouring Castle Sinclair Girnigoe.0 -

We've just had that in our house. Found 10 layers on one wall. It was fascinating, not sure how old the last layer on the wall was - Victorian or Georgian I'm guessing/hoping.Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.
