Was browsing earlier as we are thinkign about putting the wifes flat up for sale and noticed THIS.
Flicking through the pics it just looks like an average 1 bed flat - needs some decor, bit of upgrading etc.
Then look at the floorplan.
A shower room behind the TV in the living room?!?!:rotfl:
That's just totally weird :rotfl:Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

I am quite a low earner, but can put a 20% deposit down on a place like this.

Any general ideas? I do not have the salary to get anything bigger.
At this end of the market, I am more concerned with what the place is like outside the front door than the internals. Its a 1 bed studio and making that nice on the inside will be relatively easy.

They are both in the same area, and I know it well. No problems with it at all.0 -

If its a decent area then thats exactly the kind of place I'd be looking at as an FTB with modest income.
Id rather live in a studio in a nice area than a 2 up 2 down in a rough area that cost the same.0 -

Also have a young kid too!
Horrible boundaries both sides and a leylandii to deal with. The boundaries would concern me most - as chances are one of those "fences" belongs to a neighbour and therefore I wouldnt be able to rip it out and replace with something decent-looking.0 -
