It's a shame that they couldn't manage the layout better. It looks as though there is no window to the bedroom as they chose to put the bathroom in front of it instead.
You could probably turn the "stairs" 90 degrees near the bottom and get a double sofa underneath? I'm always amused they have to include a link to nearby schools. There might be scope for a mezzanine loft above the bedroom for the kids to sleep in. At the very least I would want to look at putting a Velux window in the roof.

Well to be horribly practical, that sort of (once fashionable but surely fashionable no longer) cladding soon deteriorates. I know several people who have had it, on 1970s type houses. They have all had to replace it with plastic look alike as the wood soon goes rotten.

And Money believe me doing something to your house that makes it look anything other than what it is, is usually a mega mistake.

I know what you mean by the 1970s version - and my parents have duly replaced it with upvc on their 1970s house.

But it does seem to be fashionable again and I've seen some houses that have only just been built that feature it heavily. The place I know very well that has had it done in the course of revamping is 1980s I believe and didnt have it in the first place. A major revamp of the area got done in the last few years and modern style cladding got added and I have to say I think it vastly improves the look of it - and there is no way my home city would have done that if it was outdated - as "outdated" is about the worst insult word anyone can use about anything there LOL.

I presume modern-day wood cladding is done in rather different wood to the first time it was fashionable (ie the 1970s) and is rather more durable.

Ah, yes teak would be good. The people I know had much cheaper stuff, painted pine I think.

I suspect a colour-blind person who can't properly see red or green would be an ideal buyer.

According to the EA one of the selling point s apparently is that there is "no need to do any work" :o

The kitchen was bad but was the zebra print duvet that gave me a proper chortle.
