The price is almost certainly for the plot rather than the house - I imagine it's aimed at a buyer who will either demolish or extensively redesign the house (which could be really nice modernised).

Then they could set about demolishing and re-designing the neighbourhood, perhaps?

I know areas change over time, but I don't think I'd have long enough left to wait for it in that location!

Maybe...but it IS in Jaywick, and Land Registry shows the maximum price paid in that road is under £70,000.

Plus there is not a buoyant property market in the general area, with few sales recorded by LR in recent years. Of those, c£150k has been the absolute maximum, and I doubt that the higher priced properties were in Jaywick itself.

I think I love it, reminds me of growing up in the 70's. We had shiny wallpaper with raised little square pattern, I used to pop them, like they do now with bubble wrap :rotfl:

I was going for spot the Pac Man but the playhouse (pic 30) is amazing.

Pac Man is cute and love the playhouse, but why are all the drapes too long? I love a good shabby chic look as much as the next person, but all I can picture is the filth which must be collecting under there. :think:
