Maybe there's £15k-worth of smack still stashed under the floorboards... Does seem a bit of a cheek though.
Hmmm... Just had an idea for a new daytime tv show... "Stash in the Attic"...0 -
£5 monthly repayments - not bad at all

Perfect for FTB...who happen to have £85k in the bank, 'cause they won't get a mortgage for a 10th floor flat.
If they genuinely spent £28000 doing this up, whoever they hired ripped them off. (I suspect they've accidentally included the purchase price in the figures.)
The layout is also worrying. In the event of a fire at night, you have to go through the kitchen and the living area to get out (unless you have a rather long ladder to hand).

I live on the 6th floor, and it's fine as long as the lift's working ...Wednesday2000 wrote: »*Shudder* I can't imagine living that high up.0

Our son and daughter in law used to live on the 28th floor of a Dubai Marina area block of flats. When they did a BBQ on the balcony, I had to sit inside!“And all shall be well. And all shall be well. And all manner of things shall be exceeding well.”

I used to live on the 20th floor (in this building http://www.infovlissingen.nl/foto/sardijntoren.jpg - which was briefly the tallest residential building in The Netherlands). You get used to it, though there was the occasional very windy day when you would notice the building moving ever so slightly.
Still wouldn't buy the Coventry flat, I would file it under 'hovel'. Would never buy a place that would just about fit a single bed and I'm sure they could have done much better with 28k.0 -
Well it might have been someones taste in design, style, decor, but...

The vendors have obviously heard of staging the house, but this one is wrong in too many ways to mention. Prepare yourselves for the last picture and then look at who's selling it.0 -

I was about to stage fierce outrage until I checked my own bedroom's measurements (my small one) and found it to be far bigger:silenced:
I'd love the view myself but yeah, I like my own company... but I'd feel a bit imprisoned there maybe, and the decor ain't exactly warm and welcoming.
I'd also like to know what the neighbours are like if that flat's *had* £28k spent on it... what are the other flats like?!?0
