  • It's an old mill-house, so I presume it's part of the mechanism.
I tried to find views of it on street view but only get the estate built on (I presume) part of the original grounds - very frustrating!

Given it's in a rather beautiful part of Wales, what's the catch (apart from the nearby estate)?

I think the area that comes up on street view is not quite right.

2 things to look for 0.2 miles from station and a water wheel so very close to water, that means you have to move round the area to find somewhere that fits.
If you go down to the woods today you better not go alone.

It's miles out, but the details have directions.

I have tracked it down to here:

I didn't make it anywhere near that number, but I wasn't methodical like you.:o I just realised there were over 20, and to me, that smacked of either desperation or a job lot!

The property, which seems well-presented, has been on the market for over 2.5 years, so this hints at a few issues.

It's unfortunate that the Street View is out of date, as the garden has been tidied, but being opposite a huge slurry store (such sensitive siting!) and next door to a garage/collector of scrap vehicles cannot be helping. :(

Cheers, Davesnave, I got that, too ...as far as I can tell from the 'street view' available on the ad, the new housing appears to be miles away across the other side of the A40 (!).
Amazing the sellers didn't spot that, too - unless, of course, they preferred it as a selling point to the slurry container

Come on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.

I think incompetence is much more likely than subterfuge.

I've dealt with Welsh EAs and this sort of thing happens.
Years ago, when Rightmove first started linking to maps, one agent put their own postcode on every listing.....
