It's in a 'posh' district, but in a horrid narrow street boxed in by very tall buildings, offices and clubs , with no other homes.


It looks like an old pottery factory, as it has the typical owner's office window overlooking the entrance to the back yard. They get demolished, where I live.

If you put the street name in google maps , it shows a large house at the end of an unmade lane, with what looks like more development further on.

Either it's been built to sell on or the occupant hasn't stayed long.

I think it's either supposed to be a lighthouse or a windmill ornament that's lost its sails!

I suspect that it used to be mid terrace, but something happened (WWII, maybe) caused the rest of the terrace to be demolished.

The state of the other bricks below the gable is pretty poor.
