Must be. They've installed a DPC over the whole front garden.:)0 -
Oh my, this one appears to be plonked right in the back garden!

To be fair, looks like in next door's. At least their beans will never fall over.
And think of the other benefits, like being able to run fluorescent lights without connecting them to the mains.0 -

By the way Indian Sandstone-is of the budget range of sand stones!
Yes, someone offered me their complete patio's worth free last month, having been caught out, buying them over the Internet. I declined. 'Heavily riven' was the description. 'Totally uneven and a b*gger to lay.' was mine.
Can I add one more item to the description?
"Mean little porch, tacked-on, because the builder didn't wan't the complication of going into the roof/wall plate."0 -

As expected, street view shows a very overgrown front garden. Roof looks ok though, dk where damp from?A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Is that a hint of a cross?
Pic4 has one also.0 -
Houses with overhead cables seem to be popular at the moment. This one also has a spot the vendor and a shock when you go to street view.

for some strange reason a ladder to the roof is a key design feature of this place, although the juxtapostion between an empty swimming pool and well watered lawns needs explaining? The EA certainly seems to like getting close to the water. But the pièce de rèsistance...... it (just) has an electricity pylon!!

plus you also get the chance to found your own banana republic on the adjoining land and have a private escape route come the revolution via your other plot of land next to the airport. Downside? You have to build your own house to live there :rotfl:

there is nothing "wrong" with this place at all - expect a hint at the social gulf between you and your staff "Small ancient country cottage arranged for a guard"If I owned a £2.5 million property I would expect to motivate my guard looking after it a bit better than giving him an ancient shack to live in. Up the Revolution!

For nearly 2 million I would not want to live in a cage-pic 1.
It does get better!
