Could someone explain "the door" to me? I'm at a loss.
Intention of owners to have a walkway from the door to the hill, but it never was built?:j0 -

wow! especially picture 7. Bet the new owner rips it all out
Every last little thing, except the fireplace in photo 2, is my guess. That's a lotta house for the money but I am now wondering if there would be anyone who wouldn't rip...
Goes back for a re-view, wondering if its salvageable without "ripping"...hmmm...could keep the built-in cupboards in photo 3 perhaps?0 -

Wonder how many kiddies live here, 5 beds in 2 bedrooms.
Actually a really neat house compared with many on here where maybe less children live.

Scrambled eggs maybe for lunch, & spot the obvious cat:j0 -

Property looks like it may be a refurbished old mill/cottage. Either there was steps there going down to the lower floor, or the ground used to come up right to the building and over time subsidence meant the ground had to be dug back more and they left the door in as a feature.
In my hometown there's a shop with a door about four feet off the ground. It used to have steps there, until they needed the area for parking and now they use another more user friendly entrance that is wheelchair accessible on the other side of the building.0 -

Toozie, the earlier 'crazy paving' comment made in my name, was posted by my Welsh partner without my permission.
Under interrogation, he said it was because of his fellow countryman's predeliction for using said paving inappropriately; & often vertically.
My apologies to you. The miscreant will be dealt with in my study at 9 this morning.0 -
